Andrew O’Neill Ever seen a vegan, metal head, occultist, tranny comedian? No? Well you really should. One of the most inventive and talented comics on the circuit and a regular on the stages of the most prestigious clubs and festivals in the world, you may have seen him in Steve Coogan’s “Saxondale”. We're cock'a'hoop about plans for our Traditional School Sports Day this year and looking forward to seeing all you chaps and lasses being dressed up for the fun! To make sure you compete and up hold the traditions so dear to us Blissfieldians we are even going to assign you a school house for the weekend, which one do you think you'll fit in best?
HOUSE CAPTAINS - The headmaster will soon be choosing the candidates for house captain from the many who have applied, and open voting for the winners so we can let you have a say in who you think are the gentlemen and ladies that remind us of all that is great at Blissfields in 2012! We are looking for house captains with the spunk to not only lead their houses to victory at The Sports Day Events but to generally rally the troops, and bring out the best in your house this year.
Continued on page 3We are so pleased to have Roger, Dara and the team back again to Blissfields 2012 providing their luxury boutique camping experience.
Having looked after every whim of their lucky guests for the past two years, they know exactly what the discerning Blissfielder needs to make the weekend even more memorable!
With their own secluded, tree lined area in the camp site they will once again be providing campers with their stylish elegant canvas nomadic tent, in the style of the Touareg tribe of North Africa. We are hugely excited to be holding Road to Blissfields events again this year allowing local acts to compete for a place at Blissfields Festival 2012.
Check out the nearest event to you below. We had some fantastic bands play for us in 2011 and made some great friends along the way. The acts for each venue have now been chosen and can be viewed on the events facebook pages.

Families make up a huge part of the feel of Blissfields, we've grown as a festival with the local families who first organised and attended it, and that's how it's going to stay. From a dedicated camp site area and our family area, to our consideration of food stalls, carft stalls and miscellaneous events we want families to feel totally at home. Time and time again we hear from parents what a great time their children had at Blissfields and how much they have been able to relax for the weekend. 2012 will be no different.
We are pleased to say that Angel Gardens will be back bigger and better than ever before, they will provide the main entertainment and focus for families and children in their amazing area. We'll let Angel Sam teel you all about it:
